Asheville Rhythm Series Tars

Cooperman has collaborated with River Guerguerian, the artistic director of Asheville Rhythm, to create a series of custom spec'd drums that reflect the unique Asheville Rhythm style. 

Offered in a full range of diameters from 12" to 22", the AR series drums include custom staining and selected inlay, deep shells with a hybrid bearing edge, and TWO thumb holes (facilitates holding the drum in the "soft position". like a riq).  The wave patterned inlay is chosen to represent a mesmerizing rhythmic flow.

• 4 3/4" depth, single-ply steam bent Vermont Cherry wood.
• Clear , protective PolyWhey overcoat, derived from recycled and renewable whey, for a neutral odor and environmentally friendly finish.
• Two thumb holes.
• Decorative inlay.
• Coordinated bronze/gold cord.
• Hybrid bearing edge.
• Recommended REMO Renaissance drum head.

Except for the instruments featured in our "Drums Available to Ship Now" section, it may take up to 4 weeks to build your drum from log to finished instrument.
