14" Green Goddess - Marla Leigh Series Frame Drum

The 14" Green Goddess joins the 16" Marla Tar as a “go-to” drum for the three main playing styles (upright, lap-style, and free-hand style) that Marla teaches in her Online Academy. This model offers a lighter and even more portable version of the 16″ drum. The smaller diameter defines a slightly higher pitch range when compared to the 16″ version. Its name, Green Goddess, and its jewel tone green color honors Marla’s frequent visits to our mill shop in the Green Mountain State. The graphic hamsa overlay on the drum shell recalls the powerful history of frame drums, and how they were used for wellness and healing in cultures all over the world. The Green Goddess is standard with green cording, a thumb hole, your choice of REMO Renaissance drum head or REMO Ebony for a warmer timbre; pitch F- B possible, G-A  best range
