Lap-Style Frame Drums

Designed for drummers who play primarily in the "lap-style" or "free-hand style", these drums are essentially a Cooperman Classic model drum with added depth - 4.75" (12 cm) instead of the classic 4" (10.16 cm). The added depth makes the drum more stable on your leg, and the added depth gives it a little more sonic "punch."  This model is built without the thumbhole, though one can be added upon request. (PICTURED WITH A THUMBHOLE).

•  4 3/4" depth. (about 12 cm).
  
• Single-ply steam bent Cherry wood shell.
• Musical instrument grade, clear lacquer finish.
  
• REMO Renaissance drum head recommended.
