This drum is a one-off and being offered at a discount because of flaws in the finish.

It is a blend of features included in our Marla Leigh Series 12" Purple Haze (added depth and rounded bearing edge) and our Asheville Rhythm Series (two thumbholes for a "soft" or "classical" grip, like a riq or tambourine).

Flaws - the drum was built as an experiment for placing thin rings on the outside of the shell (see pic 3 ).  We later removed then rings and filled the mounting holes.  We filled and finished over the small holes and added a decorated overlay.

• 12" (30.5cm) diameter x 4.75" (12 cm) depth.
• Cherry wood stained and lacquered black, with s decorative gold overlay, and black cording.
• two thumbhole grip.
• REMO Ebony/Black drumhead.
• 794 grams (about 28 ounces).
